When it comes to government funding, the 1940’s and 50’s are tainted heavily by influence of World War II as opposed to prosecuting those involved with the American Mafia.

Posters used during World War II to inspire a sense of patriotism in the US citizens and influence them either join the military or help their country on the home front by purchasing Savings Bond, conserving valuable resources needed for the war effort, or taking jobs that were formerly filled by men fighting in the war.
